In 2012 I was a resident researcher at the Millennium Seed Bank, Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, Wakehurst Place, Sussex. This was funded by an Australian Postgraduate Award during my PhD research candidature. (2011-2017) During this time I furthered my PhD investigation but I also had the chance to make new work, part of which was exhibited in Crossing the Rubicon in 2012.

I write about this experience of staying at the Millennium Seed Bank, meeting the seed morphologist Dr Wolfgang Stuppy and his research in my PhD Exegesis which is published online and can be accessed through the ANU Library Open Research Portal. https://openresearch-repository.anu.edu.au/handle/1885/118282
